Many of the elemental compounds essential to Novian society were harvested by neutrally buoyant mining platforms suspended in the atmosphere of the gas giant Tosis. Commishioned in A22:758, the Kavoch was the first of a new class of enormous harvesting structures capable of extracting and processing Florine, Xenon, Deuterium, Phosphine, and other gasses simultaneously.
